Claudio Bravo early work "Selfportrait" and the pastel "Orchids" will be on New York auction
The Chilean hyperrealist master on Christie's Latin American Art Sale
About

A self portrait showing Claudio Bravo at the age of twenty-six and a pastel made artwork will be on the sale organized by the prestigious auction house Christie's this Tuesday 19 at Rockefeller Plaza, New York.

The portrait was executed while Bravo has arrived to Madrid, in 1962, and it is one of the few drawings with surrealistic features, with the artist face drawn on a trompe l'oeil treatment of paper.
